Well I'm back from my East Coast research and family trip... I have lots of new information to upload/update my memorials, etc. Lots of Pennsylvania updates to make... If I don't get to your requested updates/changes quickly, just send me an email to expedite them.|

Yes, I have access to the PA death records and you would probably still be searching for Asa. He was indexed as Ara R Holeoino. Until I get a new computer, I'm unable to see the original images on ancestry, so I have to make do with ancestry's interpretation of names and places.
I've known the Holcombs all my life - they were our neighbors. I don't remember Asa, but all the others I knew quite well. Are you related? Is there anything I can help you with here in Luzerne County? That is the main focus of my research.
Happy 4th to you. ~nan

Happy Father's day, Spence! I also added his portrait that I found online. Hope you like it.

sorry it took so long I know the request came in Feb, but we have has such a bad winter here in NY it was hard to get out to photograph headstones for any requests.
I went on St Paddy' day to place green carnations on my mom and dad's graves and the grounds keepers where still picking up the Christmas blankets and wreaths.. usually they pick them up Jan 20-21 thats how bad the weather was!

You are welcome. The Find A Grave site works really well when everyone shares.

Thanks for your kind words. Mr and Mrs Neecke were very nice and were missed by many of the neighbors when they passed.

O.K., Spence .... keep the faith & keep the requests coming!
|Gerry Jean||Josephine Balestrieri|
That should read:
....... but no Balestrieri was buried in 1919.
|Gerry Jean||Josephine/Yolanda Balestrieri|
Spence, the Holy Cross data base (sfgenealogy.com) has no record for Josephine. I tried searching just the surname ... there are 44 listed as interred there ... but Balestrieri was buried in 1919. I then tried "Yolanda" and "1919" .. nada. Looks like more research needed!
