RE: Elizabeth Hannah Eakin Moreau
Dear Ron,
I apologize for not responding sooner since September 2015 as my husband passed away and I have not be on Find A Grave until now.
Elizabeth Hannah Eakin Moreau (1834-1900) was my 4th cousin 5 x removed. Find A Grave Memorial # 10063 6350

Her 2nd husband, William Capers Moreau (1834-1874), as you mentioned, I cannot find any search history on Ancestry, so I do not know anything about how he got murdered.

Thanks for letting me know where the photo came from.
I have left a flower on her memorial stating the source of your photo so future visitors will know.

Could you please leave such information in the caption area of photos that you upload? I notice other people are asking you for information on other photos you have added. Knowing the sources of information is vital for people researching their ancestors.

All your hard work and contributions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

I hope you can tell me where you got the photo you posted on Adalin M. Wright Macauley's memorial. The caption in the photo says she was National President. But president of what organization?? You left no caption stating what book the photo was from.
Thanks so much.

Sgt. Joseph Machukay Memorial
I just saw your name on his memorial. I was with you in basic training at Ft. Campbell in same 1st platoon. What a coincedence almost 50 Years later.

Photo of Delzie Demaree
Interested in the provenance of the photo of Delzie Demaree in uniform that is used in his memorial. My late father was a student of Demaree and I'm working on a project to document the man's amazing career and contributions to the field of botany.

RE: Owen Scott:
Hi Ron -

I just noticed your message from a few years ago and looks like I never replied to you :-( My apologies!

I don't believe there is any connection between my Jesse Scott buried in Shiloh Cemetery and your Owen Scott. Jesse's father, Andrew Scott, is buried in Rockbridge County, VA. His will mentions all of the children I'm aware of from other family documents. I've researched his descendants from all these children but have never seen anyone named Owen in any of the families.

Always fun to research a common surname! Good luck with your research.

Can you give me any background information on the photo you posted on this memorial, such as where you obtained it? Laura Beer is my husband's great-grandmother, but we have little info about her. Thanks!

Thanks for the photograph of this person. Can I ask why you uploaded it as a grave photo instead of a portrait? Just wondering.
