I started doing family research/genealogy about 10 years ago after my parents passed away. I realized that though I had grown up with my grandparents (paternal & maternal) and many of my great grandparents on both sides my children were not going to get that luxury. I wanted them to know who and where they came from. It began a journey that has been enlightening, educational, & most of all fun.
I have met so many awesome people along the way especially those willing to give their time and effort to track down some scrap of information so that I could move on to another branch in the tree. There have also been several distant family members who had done a lot of the work ahead of me and for that I am deeply indebted. They shared what they had without any hesitation. And because of those people and the help they provided to me I try to pass it on whenever possible.

Thank you for the photo taken in the Mount Washington Cemetery in Mercer Co., PA of Charles Blaine and Elizabeth Seidle. I have corrected the sir name from Seidel to Seidle as indicated on the grave marker. I also moved Elizabeth into the correct cemetery.
For some reason their grandson, David Paul uses the Seidel spelling for his sir name.
