Note: Many of my photos were taken with my iPhone and edited in Windows, and depending on the orientation of my iPhone when the photo was taken, will appear upside down or sideways when viewed using Apple's Safari web browser but right side up when viewed using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer for Windows. I have e-mailed Findagrave administration to see whether there is something they can do through coding to correct this problem. So far, I have not received a response. I have tried a number of things from my end to see whether I can correct the orientation without having to take new photos. So far, nothing seems to work. Sorry for the confusion.|

I posted the photos, but they are on top anyway. I am like you, I like to see the headstone first. The photos are really nice, I just wish I had more of my family. Thanks!

Jasper McGlaun photo
Thank you for posting the photo of Jasper McGlaun. He is one of my great grandfathers, but I had never seen a photo of him. I'd love to know how it is that you have a photo of him. Thanks again!

No objections. Have a blessed day!

I am researching the 13 original members of the Gainesville Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, founded back in 1922. One of them was Anne Elizabeth Dorsey Davis Champagne. I am interested in the photo that you have posted on her page on FindAGrave. I am not able to read the caption below the photo. I am assuming one of the ladies is Anne! Can you help me identify her?
Thank you so much!

I have added a photo to this memorial of Neely making the first phone call in Waynesboro. This photo was published in the True Citizen newspaper. If you do not want this picture attached please let me know and I will remove it.

That is quite a piece of work that you have established on the Scaife's and collaterals! Fairview Cemetery seems to be well-enough kept up as far as grass cutting but so many stones, tablets and cairns are broken or in disrepair - at least in the old section. I didn't spend much time in the newer section. I'll keep looking the next time I decide to take a side trip from home. I'd never been to Fairview before, so it was nice to discover it. I also found that Katie Couric's grandfather is buried there. Who knew!?! That was neat. Anyway, thanks for sharing your website. Eventually, I hope Jamieson pops up... lfa
Steve, I just posted a photo of a lot for Jamieson Scaife at Fairview. Now, after reading his bio, I am not certain that this lot is the one in which he is buried. Please see other Scaife's that I have added at Fairview, all in the same lot. If you want me to removed the lot photo from Jamieson's memorial, let me know. You'll need to re-post the photo request, and the next time I go down to Eufaula (it is an hour from Columbus), I'll continue to look for it if no one else finds it. Linda Ames

Those are the directions I used, and i also kept an eye out for the names of the other people that were supposed to be buried in the same cemetery, but no such luck. Unless you find any new info about the cemetery, I will definitely be waiting until it cools off some.
|Holly Tinney||Lovejoy Family Cemetery|
Seems like maybe I overestimated how easy it would be to find this cemetery. I found 2 from the road, but neither of those is the one you are interested in. If you get any additional information about where this cemetery is located, I'd be glad to give it another shot. I plan to go back when it cools off & after everything has died back. Maybe it's just off the road a little further than you can see?
|Holly Tinney||Lovejoy Family Cemetery|
The Lovejoy Family Cemetery is listed as being only a few miles out of town, and I am going into town later today. I will stop by and get some photos for you. (If it is fairly easily accessible from the road. It's too hot right now for a mile long trek through the woods.) I'll only add the photo for Eleazor, but will take photos of all the stones. If you want the photos of those as well, please let me know. Oh, and I am also new to this site, so please be patient if my response isn't immediate! I've still got to figure out how to work a few things.
