In the course of researching and putting together my family tree, my husband and I have come to realize just how fulfilling it is to have an answer. This site helped us find some of ours. We appreciate the opportunity to help others find theirs. |
My husband is a linguist who has a particular interest in Old German gravestones. He's always willing to help translate if desired.

Thank You So Much for the information. I'll be able to verify what I have in my tree. Is it OK to use the photo for ancestry? I will of course give acknowlegement to you for the photo.

Thank You TerriwithaC,
I knew the chances of getting a photo with ledgable printing was going to be slim. Any chance somebody told you where to find the headstone? I'm just wondering if the dates are accurate.

Thank-you kindly for the headstone photo of Mary Brook Rutley. I appreciate your time.

Could you please transfer all the Trites on this memorial to me? They are my great aunts and uncle. All are brother and sisters with Bessie & Oliver never marrying. I also have World War I service information for Oliver. Emma's full name is actually Emma May Trite Boyd. Boyd was her married name. She married George Washington Boyd and had one son.
Memorial numbers are Emma - 83551615, Oliver - 83551573 and Bessie - 83551448.
