Isaac Nelles Death date
Isaac Nelles, Memorial #76332327 in the Anderson Family Plot Cemetery who is listed as dying Nov 20th, actually died Nov 19th as per his death registration. I could have submitted the change but thought I'd see if you wanted to do it instead, since you have uploaded all the folks information in the cemetery. Thanks, Elaine.

Anderson Family Plot location
Hello Richard, I appreciate all the work you have don on the Anderson Family Plot, Oneida, Ontario. However, I would like to make you aware that Oneida is actually in the County of HALDIMAND and not Middlesex,Ontario according to the Ontario Genealogical Society's work and the Canada Genweb Cemetery Project. I hope this helps. Kind Regards, Elaine

Angela Lulu Karcher Nellis 69766669
Hello Richard, I'm going to submit an edit request changing her maiden name to Karker. She was the daughter of Charles J Karker and Mary E. Karker of Cobleskill, Schoharie County, NY.

My grandmother was a Schoharie County Karker. I've been doing family research for a while from data my grandmother and my mother accumulated. The Karker line descends from Schoharie County's John Philip Karker who had 18 children between two wives. If they are Karker's, who origined in Schoharie County, then they're his descendants.

Karcher is one of the name interpretations I've run into, Kerger is another one.

Thanks for having created her memorial. Paul Turner

Memorial # 70965688
On the memorial page for Scott Palmer (Memorial # 70965688) the cause of death is listed crudely as "..a self inflicted gun shot wound to his head." He had a 10 month old baby girl at the time. As she grew up her family made the choice of not disclosing the facts surrounding her fathers death to her until she was old enough to understand and able to deal with the emotional hardships that would come along with having a parent who had taken their own life.

Now they will never have that chance since she stumbled across this page. Instead they have to console a grieving girl who can't comprehend why her father would want to do such a thing and who has more questions then her family will ever have answers.

Living in the age of technology can be both a convenience and a nuisance, especially when it comes to private sensitive matters. I see all the good that you and this site have created for those mourning loved ones; but in certain situations the details should be left to the family. Especially since they're the ones who now have to pick up the pieces of a young girls shattered world.

All I ask is that maybe before posting a cause of death that is widely stigmatized in our society, to think of the family and give them the courtesy to decide how their loved one is remembered.

I will try to put something together. There are some definite errors relating to my Showermans. Mostly spelling of names. I can forward current information too.

Ula Jane Saltsman
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that Ula Jane Saltsman (#70455080) is buried with her parents, Ezra and Mary (Nellis) Saltsman in Fort Plain Cemetery. I uploaded the photo I took of their gravestone to her memorial, but the memorial probably should move from Prospect View Cemetery to Fort Plain Cemetery. . . .

Have a great day! Peace. Charles

My parents are Bonnie (Showerman) Spohn and Peter Schuhl. My Grandparents were Roy Melvin and Eleanor (Vermilyea) Showerman. My Great Grandparents were Roy Livingston and Lillian (Kingsbury) Showerman.

Thank you for the information. I think this breaks open another line in the tree for me.
