RE: Elizabeth Jane Dickerson
There were a few years in the 1880's where death certificates were filed on a somewhat voluntary basis. You can access those on line as well at the same site I gave you. Just click on "pre 1910 Birth and Death Records".

Colonel George Mason, Jr. 68284796
Though the birth date of your memorial for George is correct. The text of said memorial states that he was born in 1690 - not 1660. Could you correct that please? Thanks.

John Stricklen
I have a Docton C. Strickland, wife's name is Milly M. Hildreth. These are the parents of John Taylor Strickland (1836-1903). There is a friend of mine who gave me this information. Her name is Sue Wilson. Her email is sw@sapientech.com. She has a lot of Stricklen/Strickland information.

RE: Nellie Clarke Dickerson Morris
I did find a Joseph M. Morris buried in St. Louis. His birth date fits. This Joseph Morris was married to Ruth _____, which would indicate he remarried after Nellie died. Do you think he might be the Nellie's husband?

RE: Nellie Clarke Dickerson Morris
I have requested a photo of her tombstone and one of her husband if he is buried here. I don't have any information about her husband. There is a Joseph M. Morris buried in the same cemetery, but I there is such an age difference, I think he would be too old to be her husband.

RE: Dickerson
I have a Thomas Jefferson Dickerson b. 2 Jan 1810 but don't know who his parents are. He is buried in Billingsley Cemetery in Miller County.

I have John R. Dickerson, b. ~1820, son of John Dickerson Sr. b. abt. 1796 and Margaret Richmond Dickerson b. abt 1795. His parents were married in 1818 and that coupled with their birth dates make be believe they probably aren't the parents of Thomas Jefferson.

I'm assuming these are the two Dickerson's you are talking about.
