I learned the love of family and genealogy from my parents stories & the drives through the countryside talking about what used to be here and there. So here I am today. Most of the people entered are my relatives, but it won't always stay that way. If you have a correction or a question, please use the edit button so the memorial page you are writing about comes up for me. Please feel free to use any of my pictures on here. I am trying to link relatives as I locate them. If you see one of your relatives, please write to exchange information! Thank you, Nancy|

I have been updating the Albee Family History and finally found were Drane Jewette Albee was buried. I hadn't found him earlier as I had his first name as Duane. This led me to their daughter Doris and her husband Donald Reeves Ferrell. I was rather intrigued to find that we both were in the 101st Airborne Division, he during World War II and I for three months in 1948/1949 for my basic training. After that I was in the Army Signal Corps.
Finding your information I have written the following profile and hope you can make corrections and additions to make if correct as possible.
Doris (Annabelle Lee) Albee & Donald Reeves Ferrell
IX 1, Doris (Annabelle Lee) Albee, daughter of Drane Jewette Albee and Myrtle Marion Clark, was born June 22, 1915, in Denver, Colorado. She died April 21, 2003, in Spring Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota and was buried in the family plot in Union Cemetery.
On an unknown date and location Doris was united in marriage to Donald Reeves Ferrell. He was born October 10, 1920, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of Reginald E. Ferrell and Laura Idelia Potterud. He died in May 1984 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, and his remains were returned to Minnesota and buried there in the family plot in Union Cemetery. There two known children were:
X1 John Clark Carpenter Ferrell born 5 May 1939, died 13 Feb 1976
X2 Richard Grey Ferrell 2 Apr 1944, died 11 Jun 1989
Both of the above children were buried in the Union Cemetery.
Donald was a World War II veteran who served as a Staff Sergeant in Company H, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Infantry Division. He served in Normandy, St Mary Eglise, and Bastogne, France campaigns.

I also have a lot of info on the Albee ancestors, if you are interested going back before the Civil War. They are my wife's ancestors.
