RE: Picture on Aunt Genova's Memorial
Judy's sister was named Linda; she was disabled and am fairly certain she was not at the shower.

Picture on Aunt Genova's Memorial
This picture was taken in Jan 1965 at my Mom's next door neighbor's house, Mrs Beckwith, who held a bridal shower for me before I married your Dad.

L-R in back standing: Aunt Barbara (Art's wife), an unknown lady and Aunt Virginia. Seated in front is Aunt Judy (LJ's wife), Aunt Genova and Aunt Margie.

Where did you get this picture? So funny!

RE: Granny and Granddad
I don't even know where they are buried. Obits are usually available at the mortuary website, but, which mortuary? I can ask Kathy next time I talk to her.

RE: Sandra Gail
The name in parenthesis refers to her daughter's husband's name. In respects to my brother, this is how they listed him and his wife Dana on my Mom's Obituary: Michael J (Dana) Mosier

I can't get over how much Sandra looks like her Mom and that smile is just like Granny's. I don't remember too much about Sandra, she was about 15 back then and probably off with friends whenever we visited. I do remember one time she poked her head out of her bedroom and said hi. She was very cute and seemed a little shy too.

When your Dad and I married, Granny was 58 and Granddad was 61. But Granny looked and acted much younger; I never saw anyone with so much energy! Your Aunt Virginia is only one year younger than my Mom.

You know, I can still see Granny brushing her hands off on her jeans, hustling into the house, saying Leo would be home soon and she needed to start dinner. Then your Granddad coming home from work, carrying his very large lunch pail (he consumed major amounts of food and never got fat). He seemed so BIG to me and a little imposing since I was only 17. But all of a sudden, he would smile and his eyes would light up and you knew he was thinking of a practical joke to pull on someone, usually Granny. He would sneak up behind her and she would jump up and yelp. They were so funny together.

They watched boxing on TV, probably the only TV they did watch. Granddad chewed tobacco and had a spitoon on the floor next to his recliner. Granny always sat on the edge of the couch, waiting to jump up and get something, either for Granddad or anyone else in the room. They were amazing people. I am glad I spent so much time with them and I really do miss those days.

PS, I didn't see your picture of the two tombstones on Linda's memorial.
