ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one entombed there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

McGlashan # 23845944
I am researching the McGlashan family and see you have a Estrada connection. I would love to compare notes!

Selvage - Selvidge
I transferred both those memorials to you. I had copied this cemetery back in the early 1980's, so I did not take pictures. The information for the graves was from my original paperwork I did back then, so I can't say how accurate the information is. I haven't been back to this cemetery in about 30 years, so don't know how the stones look, or if they still exist.

Scholes in Drake
If you want them transferred send me an email with the memorial name and number (I like to have the name just in case numbers get transposed ) and include your member number and I can transfer per F.A.G. Guidelines.

John Scholes 1738
You are very welcome to use any pictures or information. I will by very happy to share any information I have. I too am a descendant of this John Scholes (by his daughter Elizabeth, who quite "helpfully" married a man named William Scoles). You are the first person I've "met" who also came from this Scholes line. I'd love to find any information you might have on this line. I have searched throughout Knox County, Ohio and John's grave was the only thing I found (by the way his grave is directly next to his daughter and son-in-law (Elizabeth and William)). That's how I found it.
I noticed that you created a 2nd memorial for this John Scholes, find-a-grave will probably ask you to remove it as they like to keep one memorial per person. I manage the original and if you want to add anything to it, just let me know, I'll very be happy to. There are some other graves in the Berlin cemetery which are for the Scholes name, but they are actually for my Scoles family. I contacted the person who managed them, to try to get the name properly spelled, but they apparently aren't working on this line anymore. The only other Scholes grave (who I believe is connected to our John Scholes) there is Charity Scholes Worley. I assume she is John's daughter as my William Scoles also had a daughter named Charity, but she married a man named William Sly and died in Michigan. I hope this isn't too confusing. I am very happy to "meet" you and look forward to discovering more about this "lost" (to me) line of my family. Feel free to E-mail me if you want.
