Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Devon in the South West of England with my husband and my descendants on my mother's side are all Irish. I am the eldest of eight children and to date have lost one brother who died just 2 months short of his 49th birthday. I have at the last count 17 nieces and nephews including great nieces and nephews. I have been building a family tree for about the past three years. I have been lucky enough to find cousins that I have never met as my mothers oldest sister emigrated to the USA and arrived in New York in November 1939. Although my mothers sister passed away in 1985 I am now in touch by email with her family on a regular basis. One of the reasons for joining this site is to obtain photos of her grave which is in the Long Island National Cemetry at Pinelawn New York. I have recently discovered that one of my Aunt's two daughters also passed away in 1999 and her grave is in Holy Rood Cemetry in Westbury New York and if possible mostly for my mother I would like to obtain photos of both graves for her.

RE: Hi Barbara
Some really special people did the same for me and this is just my way of contributing back. I am happy she will finally get to see them. I just wish the ones of her niece came out better.

Hi
You might want to change your one location:
ATHERTON, MARY
DATE OF BIRTH: 12/17/1918
DATE OF DEATH: 10/09/1985
BURIED AT: SECTION H SITE 2514
LONG ISLAND NATIONAL CEMETERY

The National Cemetery is next to Pinelawn which is a seperate entity. I can't promise but I will try to get there soon.
