Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've lived in Bourbonnais IL (Kankakee County) since September 2002. I'm more than happy to contribute when and where I can.

If ever I have duplicated a memorial, please let me know. I'll correct it ASAP.

I see there are other Find A Grave Contributors creating memorials for our area. I have no family ties with any memorials in my virtual Kankakee County IL cemeteries. I don't want to be a name collector - I just want everyone to be remembered. If you would like a memorial transferred to you, please let me know.

Thank you for leaving Memorial on my sister marking 36 yrs.of her untimely death. This was very touching. I appreciate all you do. What a wonderful person you are to go out of your way for someone you do not know. I wish that I could thank you in person and also wish you could have met Rosemary. She was also a very loving, giving person.

RE: Maria Herrera Mesa and Simon Mesa
Hello! First of all, I want to apologize. I have a cold and a fever and I probably shouldn't be doing genealogy related activities when I'm on cold medicine.

I just added the Mesa family yesterday. It looks like I made a mistake in linking Simon Mesa (1908-1936) to Maria and Adolfo. He's too young to be Maria's husband and Adolfo's father. (Darn you, Dayquil!) I believe he may have been a cousin, although I can't find any documentation of it. They did live on the same street (S. Concho St. in San Antonio).

I have added death certificates to all three memorials and one more short news article about Adolfo's murder. I couldn't find an obituary for any of the Mesa family, unfortunately. Just a blurb about Simon's death that gave his age and address, both of which can be found on his DC.

If it's ok, I'll transfer the memorials to you. Also, please let me know if you'd like for me to delete the death certificates. A lot of people do not like them on memorials.

Sorry again for the confusion. From now when I'm sick I'll just add the information I have and leave the linking of family members to another day when I have a clear head.

Best wishes,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news about Anthony. But glad I could find Grace. :) They are in two different sections of the cemetery - but almost exactly across the street from one another. Best Regards, Roxanne

RE: Lee Wildman
Grace: thank you for the edits. Limestone is not a pull down option, but can be added to the bio. Both Lee & his wife were born in Limestone Twp. according to their marriage & death certificates. Thank you for the transfer offer, but my relationship is through their daughter-in-law, Mabel (Tait) Wildman -- so not necessary. My great-grandmother, is a Tait.

RE: Laurent and Marie Granger - IL
I have kind of translated the words on the stone, I believe it's more of a family tree memorial stone. I am curious as to what is on the back side of these two markers. Or is one side Laurent and the other Jean Baptiste?

Very puzzling... I will keep you posted Grace :)

Grace, Thank you for transferring that picture of Angeline's tombstone to her other memorial. I assume you also deleted my request for a picture. Thanks again. Wilda

Grace: Can you or will you move your picture of Angeline Rantz's headstone to the other memorial for her- #110899921? If you will do that I can remove one memorial for her and remove my request for a photo of her headstone. Thank you. Wilda
