RE: Rev. Daniel Gookin, III
I went to the cemetery and found the Sanger lot where they are supposedly buried, and there are no markings for anyone but Sangers. No memorial or anything. Grrr. I will be sure and look you up again, "when" this name crosses my genealogical trail!

RE: Rev. Daniel Gookin, III
Thanks for the info...I have read up a bit on the cemetery, and weather willing, I am going to stop by later today.
Unfortunately, (or fortunately) my relation to the Gookins is by marriage. Rev. Daniel married my 1C9R, Elizabeth Quincy. BUT seeing that they are very local to my ancestors, I doubt this is my only relation to Gookins.

Related, or not....(same towns) I also have an Elizabeth Gookin married to a Edmund Quincy. Once again...Edmund, in this case married my 9G aunt Joanna Hoar, first, then to an unrelated Elizabeth Gookin. I see some dangling threads here that look like they could be connected.

Like I have nothing else to do!!! ;)

Talk soon....

Gookin
I was going to search for Rev. Daniel Gookin, III, (he actually married into my line!) but I doubt he would be buried in the Pine Hill Cemetery since it was started in 1852 and Daniel died in 1718. Where are you getting this info?
