Historian/Genealogist. Researching my family history since 2001, a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, and a direct descendant of U. S. Colored Troops of the Civil War from Virginia and North Carolina. Currently, I'm helping to restore the historic Mt. Calvary Cemetery Complex (1879) in Portsmouth, Va., in addition to researching historically African-American and slave cemeteries in the Tidewater region of Virginia, and studying the burial sites of U. S. Colored Troops in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Georgia.|

Greetings Nadia, Would you consider transferring my Uncle's memorial to me? He was my Mother's brother who died as an infant. Thanks for all you do for the Find A Grave Family!

Can you give me some more info on this marker. Is this is actual gravesite or is this just a memorial? Some MOH websites say his grave is unknown or in Norfolk. Do you have any info?

Hi. I really wish I could help, I'm really not sure where he was located. I know the cemetery was not taken care of well. And the pictures shows shrubs or woods in the back of it, so maybe it was along the woods. I wish I could help more.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look for her headstone. I hope it is still there and not damaged or something. Thanks again, Jack Eslick
