Looking for all 13 children and their families from Patrick William Corcoran and Emeline Amanda Alley. We are hosting a trip to Huddersfield, England 2011, County Mayo, Ireland 2012 and Lawrence, TN 2013. Richardson--in Carroll County, TN 2014. Hunter--in Arkansas 2015. We need everybody's help to follow our families trails!
We have over 14,000 family members with surnames of Corcoran-Hunter-Richardson-Zook-Moseley-Downing-King-Crowley and many more surnames on ancestry.com. And, over 6,000 family members on my maiden name side--Seifferlein and Leyes families from Germany to South Bend, Indiana. Besides our German heritage we claim French, Austrian, Swiss, and Prussian royalty.
We made a contribution to The Ellis Island Foundation--"The Wall of 700,000 Immigrants"--for Patrick William Corcoran's name was unveiled July 2011 in New York City. We paid for a headstone to mark his grave on Laurel Hill in April 2011. These two commemorate our first Corcoran family in America. We have a 9 generation wall chart. We are working on a book. We will share our GEDCOM file.
These lines included 3 European Royalties--Kings of England--Egbert, Henry I and Edward I. The famous Benjamin Crowley in Arkansas, are in our family, as well. We also have stories of our very poor families living in one room houses who were cotton mill workers, who never owned the house or the land beneathe them. All of these make our lines "colorful" and fun to explore! Migrations are mostly from NY>VA>NC>TN>AR>AL.
We believe genealogy should be free so living family members can connect. That's why we are adding some of our data here. We appreciate this site's opportunity, and we humbly thank the founder and his staff. Please give generously to this site to keep this tradition going.
PS I added the Old Bethel Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
This Baptist graveyard is abandoned. It has one half Alley-Ashmores buried there. The stones are now illegible. If you have any knowledge of the people buried here or any photographs please share! | |

 | RE: Adding your old headsrone photograph to wife's page I'm happy to report that Blanche Dunfee has a headstone photo now! I apologize for not linking it to her when I uploaded a picture for Dennis. I normally post a pic to each name listed on a marker...somehow she slipped by me! | | | Jim Allen

 | Paralee Dunham Fallen Graver... Sadly,Gabby Bug the contributor that made the Dunhams interments has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find A Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find A Grave. I think the way to connect the Dunham's interments would be to contact

 | Dennis Dunfee The South Bend Tribune listed Dennis as living at 1001 N. Merrifield in Mishawaka, In. when he passed. I wonder if he is really buried in Chapel Hill instead of Fulton Co. The obit was listed 12/22/1979 p.11. I will be pull my listing. | | | Chris M
 | RE: One day closer for the Robert Brown mausoleum! I will ask for Bo when I am over there next time . I am wondering if there is any light inside which, if there isn't, could make it tough to get usable pictures. Guess I will find out.Added by Chris M on May 15, 2013 4:22 AM | | | Kerry LaManna

 | Brown family @ holy sepulchere I just stopped by Lot 54 in section 15. There are no markers on the ground around the mausoleum. I don't know if there are plaques inside the mausoleum because the door is locked. Not sure if family permission is needed to enter but I can ask later this week unless you want to contact the office first.Added by Chris M on May 13, 2013 11:15 AM | | | K Wickman
 | Mary & Robert Brown at Holy Sepulchre I contacted the cemetery, they are buried in Section 15, Lot 54, Mary is buried in grave 5, and Robert is in grave 9. Mary died May 1947, and Robert 1953. You may now request these as well. | | | | [View all messages...] |
