Barbara, I noticed you were interested in the Shuirr/Derr family lines. I am related to Nellie Blye Dougal Shuirr through her marriage to Walter, Sr. That connection comes through Warren R. Shuirr's marriage to Clara Derr Shuirr, the daughter of Noah and Henrietta Gorsuch Derr. Their daughter Dollie Derr Steinberger married Harry Steinberger and they had three children, one being my maternal grandfather, Ralph I. Steinberger. I'm not sure, but I believe you may find information on my contributor page on your family linage. Wishing you the best.

Good beautiful morning! I added Violet, but could not find Phyllis' burial, but will add her to their bio. Thanks.

You're very welcome.

Barbara: The marks at the top of the Wise name appear to be scotch tape. I did not remove it for fear of defacing the stone.

There is no Russell N. Wise listed in the Wooodlawn Inscription Book (Ohio City). There is a Russell N. Wise listed the Woodland-Union Cemetery in Van Wert with the correct dates, 1912-1971 along with his wife, Noella M (1913-?). Is this the Russell N. Wise for whom you are looking? If so please change your request and I or someone else will photograph the site eventually...

One of the wonderful things about F A G is that many different people can add bits & pieces to a memorial to make it more complete. By using the "edit" tab on an individual's memorial, you can request additional information be added to their record, such as middle or maiden name, date of marriage, plot location if known, and perhaps most important including the F A G # of spouse and parents to link the family together.
Most holders of memorials gladly make the updates or are willing to transfer the record to you so you can update it.

you are welcome! The snow is melting fast and getting sloppy. As soon as it dries up, I may be able to help with some the others you are searching for. I wanted to look for some things at Delphos St. John's myself.
