RE: Pittman, Harold
Did you try familysearch.org ? It is a free site. I plugged in Jasper Pittman and found census records and exact dates of birth and death from the California Death Index. This info also provides parents names and other siblings. There are several Harold PIttmans, but maybe one is the right one.

This may help you. We're all searching for someone. If I help you, someone may just stumble across something that will help me. That's how it goes . . .

RE: Harold Pittman
Mary,

There are 2 sections of Forest Lawn-Glendale that seem to lack headstones, or even cement numerical grave markers making finding the graves difficult. Borderland is one of these sections. I have no clue as to why there are so few markers. I have a map which shows the location of the graves and a data base which shows who is buried in each lot or plot of each section. The data base said there was no marker, but I went to the section to make certain that the information was still accurate, and it is. I have found many of the graves belong to infants or small children, but having no dates of birth/death for Harold, I don't know if that's the reason there is no headstone. I wish I could have been more help.

Crowder at FLLB - - -
John S. Crowder is in Mission Rooms - Room "C". There is no Columbarium "C" in this mausoleum (they changed it ti "J" years ago. A, B, D, E etc. but no "C").
For Mary Sally Crowder - - I have to go back and check for her in that row in "K". In row 86 there a Virginia S.Crowder. I just saw the last name and didn't check for any others or if the numbering was correct. Now I think Virginia is in 14 and I will return to get Mary in 15. There are markers there that are hard to read as they are clear plastic with tiny black lettering. Almost invisible.
