|Frederick Porter||RE: Fred and Elizabeth LaDue|
Sometimes the edit process is quirky for Find-a-Grave. The edit came through with Bessy's husband as "unknown", which I knew was incorrect so I rejected the edit and added her parents manually, sorry for the rejection, but I didn't know any other way to do it.
Your name pops up all the time here and on Ancestry, so I suppose we are distantly related somehow?
Have a great day,
|Frederick Porter||Fred and Elizabeth LaDue|
Got your edit to remove Fred (Memorial# 135937826) as Elizabeth's (Memorial# 135937771)husband. I am pretty sure they were married as I find a number of news articles, including the birth of their twins in 1913, indicating they were married, they are together in many censuses and their marriage is recorded in Rochester, 23 Oct, 1911.
Thanks for understanding the rejection, I'll link Bessie with her folks though, just not unhitch her from Fred.
I amde the change you suggested. If you would like this memorial transferred to you I would be glad to do so.
|Jay||RE: Grace Lamb|
What a surprise! Thank you for the additional information concerning Grace Lamb. I had not searched for her parents in the 1900 census so had not discovered that she became Grace Keeler. From census records we learn that she lost two children. They were G. Louise Keeler 1889 - 1889 and Florence J. Keeler 1891 - 1897. Their burials are in Glenwood Cemetery in Binghamton, NY as is their paternal grandmother. Memorials are in Find A Grave. I made memorials for Grace and Charles. Wish we knew where they are buried! Links between memorials of the children and their parents are pending.
As you may have determined from the Find A Grave memorials, I am working Lamb genealogy. What is your interest in Grace and/or her husband, Charles White Keeler?

Before I go to visit a cemetery I see what I can find online. Jame apparently has no marker.
I will go if you want me to, up to you.

Updated the info you sent for the Holderman's and linked all. If they are your family and would like me to transfer to you, let me know.
