D. H. Morrow Tombstone - Morse Cemetery
All in the family - -

You are correct in your assessment that Doctor Hall Morrow (1879-1955) was not a physician.
He was a brother of my grandfather David Porter Morrow (1878-1963). Their father was John Hillary "Buddy" Morrow 1850-1892) and mother Sarah Ann Hollie "Sallie" Moon-Morrow (1855-1926 - Morse Cemetery). The physician attending the birth of D. H. Morrow was the Reverand Thomas Hunt Hall, M.D.(1839-1914). The baby was named Doctor Hall Morrow in honor of the attending physician. Ironically, Dr. Hall's daughter Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" (1886-1980)
later married David Porter Morrow making her my grandmother.

Thanks for your work and excellent photos.

RE: Morris Cemetery
Hello David:
Sorry that I haven't got back with you sooner but I'm on vacation in Nortth Idaho and haven't checked my e-mail for several days. I reall appreciate thje headstone pictures. I had request on Find A Grave since last fall and only got one reply and that was about three weeks ago. Some lady said that she went to the cemetery and couldn't find the headstones. I was sure that they were there as Sam told me he was there a few years ago and took pictures of the headstones but didn't know where they were. I would love to have an invitation tom your tree. In regards to the eighty pictures you took in Morse Cemetery, if they are not listed on Find A Grave you can create memorials for them and then put the pictures on Find A Grave. If you don't want to create the memorials you can send me the information and I will create them for you when I return home on the 13 of July.
