Bio Photo I am a retired social worker living in northeast Oklahoma. I have just begun to volunteer. My two sisters, Joan and Jennifer, and I are making it a family project. So many of our small cemeteries have no offices and there are so many unmarked graves. There are many marked with simple flat stones with no markings and numerous ones with Cherokee script making it that much more of a chanllenge. With the three of usit will be possible to do a much more thorough search.

Fred Pinkney Hughes
Just wanted to say thank you for finding and taking a picture of Fred Pinkney and Beulah (Tuell) Hughes gravestone. I had been under the impression that there was NOT a stone marking his grave. I congratulate you and your sisters in caring about the old cemeteries that do not have offices, many graves are unmarked, etc. Thank you for the volunteer work that you do. Dorie Sheppard (a Hughes relative).

Robert Lake's grave site
thank you so very much Linda for finding my brother's grave for me. I had it on here before, but don't know what happened to it. It virtually just disappeared from the page. My brother-in-law's Virtis Fowler's disappeared from the page as well, but my Mother's is still listed on there. So thanks again because that was a lot of work getting all their information on the pages. I don't know what happened and just don't understand it either. Guess it will just be a mystery.
