David Welch and Matilda Shields Welch were the parents of Thomas Nelson Welch, Orrin Scott Welch and several others including a daughter, Ellen Matilda Welch who would be my Great – great grandmother. So it seems we are related by a few generations back

Was Orrin Scott Welch the father of Orrin Sanford? Any idea? Thanks.

With what you said about the urn being a memorial for Harley makes sense to me as to why he is listed in the directory for the Broken Bow cemetery. I bet when they were compiling the information for the directory many years ago they mistook the memorial urn for a tombstone. Thanks for replying I was curious about the story.
Thanks, and have a Merry Christmas too!

HI, you are very welcome for the monument photo. I'll do better if I get a chance to go back. I was just photographing the whole cemetery and didn't realize there was a request until I got home. I'll look for the infant information, and get you better photos if I can get back. Regards, SMD

Hi, I took a photo of your grandparents monument. Maggie's information is on the front of the monument, Thomas is on the side. I apologize I didn't look at the other side of the monument for infant information. If I get a chance to go back out I'll check for you. Regards, Suki Davey

You are most welcome! I am happy to be of help. I enjoyed reading the memorials for them and looking at the photographs of them. I am sure they had full and interesting lives, not all are so fortunate. May they rest in peace.
