RE: Bringman tombstone
I went back today and was able to decipher the inscription on Vurna's gravestone. I posted the pictures and inscription.

I got a picture of her marker too, but couldn't make out what it said. I think I'll go back and put some chalk on it to see if I can make it all out before I post the picture.

John Bringman Riverside Cemetery
We went to the Riverside Cemetery in Louisville, NE today and found the grave of John Bringman. I will post that picture in a few minutes. We looked around for a grave for his wife, Harriet, but had no luck. If they are both buried in the same plot, then it's likely that her grave is unmarked. We did find a very small stone, about 6 inchs by 2 inches located about 5 feet to the left of his stone simply marked "J B" It did not seem to be associated with any particular stone, but his was the closest to it. I don't know if that could be her marker or not. Sorry we couldn't do better for you. Ken

So that is Lemuel's stone!
I am going to have to go Sturtenvant and see it for myself. It should be easy now! My e-mail is on my contributor page. - Chip

RE: Photograph appreciation
You are very welcome. I am assuming that Bernice's grave is the one between Loyce and her mother?
