I live on Hawai'i Island, sometimes travel to other islands. I spend several months a year in California, in the Yosemite and Central San Joaqin Valley area but travel all around Calif., so I hope to fulfill requests where ever I travel.|
I was trying to follow a line of my ancestry with no names, information or hope. Because of a volunteer's photo on Find a Grave I was able to pick up a thread that my family believed to be lost forever- an amazing gift.
I take the photos because I hope to be able to pay that back somehow and hopefully give that gift to others. The connection I feel with the photos I take is difficult to explain and I am honored to be able do something to commemorate each person.

Hi, a while back you sent me a "problem reported" message on Find A Grave, that Inez isn't buried with Martin, and I think they were divorced, so I'm not surprised. You said the cemetery manager knew both of them, and said that he thought Inez was buried with another name. You asked if I could think of any other name she might have used. I don't know if she ever re-married! But if not, she might have used her maiden name: Alford. Are you still willing to check again? Thank you! I have had a string of life events - youngest daughter getting married at my house, close death in the family, a long time away from home - and I'm just getting back to several hundred emails, many of them F.a.G. messages with info and/or corrections. Thank you so much for your patience with my unresponsiveness. And thank you so much for what sounds like "above the call of duty" on finding Inez's grave.

Thank you so much for trying to find the headstone of Inez. I will dig a bit and see what I can find out on possible other names.
