Bio and Links
Bio Photo I guess I have always been interested in genealogy, but didn't really get in to it until after ones that knew info had gone to be with Our Lord and Savior.
Have found ancestors in Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri,
North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and of course our great state Texas.

RE: Wallace O Timmons memorial
sadly, it isn't marked. I have never understood why it isn't. Since that day it has been a part of our county history. I would like to see a memorial marker or something there someday. Most locals know where it is because there is a farmhouse near the site that has been there since the 1800s

RE: Wallace O Timmons memorial
You are very welcome. There just isn't enough information about the incident or crew available. Mostly what is known is from eyewitness accounts. I have photocopies somewhere of newspapers, the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Western Star that covered the tragedy. when I locate them I will share them with you if you would like but as I said there isn't a lot of information.

Wallace O Timmons memorial
The memorial says there were five crew members, actually, there was a total of 16. There were 4 officers and 12 enlisted men.

This crash happened just outside my hometown. There are other members of the crew on the Find-A-Grave website. If you would like to check out Find A Grave Memorial# 2994434 for Ssgt Eulis E Smith, the other crew members are listed there if you would like to link them.

Thanks :)

RE: Wrong info
I'm a little bit confused by your message. You put that the mother of Alejandro Mahle, Jr was Consuelo H. Mahle, but her memorial shows her to be born a year after her purported son. Perhaps you made a mistake somewhere along the line?

Also—in case you aren't already aware—it is much preferable to use the "Suggest a correction…" link under the "Edit" tab for any edits, links, etc., you may have for memorial pages.

RE: Mrs Goodwin
I'm sorry I don't know if her son, Jimmy was in the military or not. I did not know Mrs. Goodwin personally, but came across her obituary and thought it would be nice to have it posted on her memorial. She must have been a wonderful person and teacher. Do you know what years she taught in Lubbock? I went to school all twelve years in Lubbock, but not at the schools listed where she taught. Was she one of your teachers?

I love to link family members together. I have found some of her relatives if you are interested in linking them.

Thanks again for posting her obituary.

RE: Bertha grave
OMG thanks for that update. I'll have to contact someone in the family and follow up on why she doesn't have a tombstone yet. Yes if you can still snap a photo that would be greatly appreciated.

"Kin folks"

Mary Ann Brooks Putman was my Great Grand Mother, I think that our connection. But could be wrong.
On my email address it a under slash _ before the @. I do not like putting my info out in public.
Mr. Holub says I should ask for you to transfer my Dad and Grandparents, but I think at this time I will leave them in your hands.

Thanks for all your help
