Bio Photo My mother and I have been looking into the murder of a cousin, Watt Daniel, who was killed in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana by the KKK in 1922. I've been adding information to ancestry.com about this subject, while my mom has been adding the info into Findagrave.
I'm in North Central Kansas.

Christina Lampton
RE: Lampton family
Hi, Jo. All the Lamptons are actually related; so yes, I am related via marriage. It's a pleasure to meet you! A friend and I went to look for the headstone you requested, but had no luck. We will check cemetery records and try one more time for you. Henry Williams listed on a headstone registry outside of Find A Grave, so I must assume someone has seen it. I neglected to take charcoal and tissue paper to make stone reliefs and will do so next time. It helps where the markers are hard to read.

We live in he Darbun area, by China Grove.

Talk soon.

Joy, you are so prompt! You have already posted Fern smith, and we are barely home from the funeral. Would it be too much to ask, when you have time, to photograph the new gate? Thank you again for your work!

Elizabeth Daniels Santa Fe
Joy, I fulfilled your request for Elizabeth Daniels, but it is still a temporary marker. I have her in my "to do" list, and will swap the photos out as soon as the permanent headstone is in place.

Regards, Sidney

Sure, Joy, I will do that! I didn't go photograph that one, I just plugged it in since "Big Monte" was a family friend and there wasn't a memorial on for him. I can see it from the road, so I better stop and get a photo soon, too. Thanks for letting me know!
