RE: Lorena Slayback
Sorry my response was not prompt. The 1872 date was from the book "Here They Sleep", taken from the headstone. I also looked in up on the Richland County website and it also said 1872. I'm sorry I can't verify it. I know obituaries can be wrong and also info on headstones. If she was born in Richland County - there is a birth index through the Family History Center (LDS Church).

RE: Franklin Page White, JR
Hi Kal,
Your welcome for the photos, I am glad to be able to help.

Yes, I do believe that a stranger grave and a paupers grave are the same or very similar.
The way the gentlemen in the office explained it to me was that the stranger graves were used in times of high death count. They would have so many people that they buried them one after another, with no formal service. He said this happened in times of plague, ect.

"Also, what does the date: "official recorded plot is 19/10/85"". This is the recorded section, row and lot number and it goes backwards, Franklin is in section 85, row 10, lot 19.

"He was supposed to have died in 1992 at the same time as his mother. He would have been 3 years old. "
On the photo request it showed his DOD as 1902? IF his DOD is 1992 then I would guess we have the wrong person. I did not confirm that but I would be happy to when I go back and if you would like I can ask about his mother.

Hi, We noticed that very close to E. Lee's grave, a Hannah H Lee 1871-1916. Did take a photo if you're interested.

RE: Homer Buntin picture
Hello, Kal. I went out to Hillcrest today. The burial record for Homer Buntin was there, but there was no headstone for him. Sorry.
