Bio and Links
Bio Photo I caught the geneology bug from my father's aunt and have been researching in my spare time for the last few years. I very recently became involved with Find A Grave. After stumbling onto Find A Grave one day and finding information and a photo link for one of my ancestors, I decided I could take a little time once in a while and help others do the same.

Now I am addicted! It has been a great way to improve my skills researching my own family and I have learned more about the local history where I live.

I live in the Verde Valley of central Arizona and have good access to cemeteries in Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Clarkdale and enjoy the occasional trip to Payson, Pine, Prescott, Dewey, and Flagstaff for photo missions. I occasionally create memorials for people whose headstones catch my attention and have not been entered. I am more than happy to turn over the management of these memorials to others related and interested in those individuals.

Thanks to all who have helped me with my photo requests and those that will someday respond to my requests. I hope I can return the favor someday or at least "pay it forward" to others using this site.

RE: Herschel Ray Hubbard
Nina,

You are most welcome and thank you for your comments. Riverside is a very nice and well kept cemetery.

I agree with your comment on your profile about "paying it forward". I have been helped so much by volunteers back east. That is how I got started out at Riverside - paying back for a guy who has taken several photos for me in Wisconsin. He had a request in for a photo and I thought I should take care of it. Riverside is about 35 miles down the way, but the area is so peaceful. Good luck in your research.

Have a great Christmas and New Year.

Take care,

Margi

I just added the photos to Herschel's memorial at Riverside National Cemetery. I also added the photos to a Bernard Estes Hubbard - memorial #809900.

Thanks for making a great effort in trying to find them. It's frustrating when the records that point us to Cottonwood might be incorrect. The cemetery has over 1500 markers. Perhaps they are still there somewhere, or elsewhere in the county.
