RE: Thomas Keating Obit Hi Virginia, what you added for the obit for Thomas Keating looks fine to me, and thanks for linking Thomas to his wife Elsie. FYI, the note you have on Elsie Keating's (Memorial# 147926077) bio is a copy of what you have on her husband's page, but should read "next to Thomas P. Keating". I was researching these two as distant relatives of a friend. Thanks again, Dan Phelan Baltimore
RE: Eugene Olajos obit 27 September 2004.. York Daily record... My daughter was also in the Army and I was looking for her .mil email and I seen his name because he was a civilian contractor for the Army. I called him and he grew up 80 miles from my dads family here in Michigan.. Had almost same story grand parents came from Budapest Hungary.. Farmers.... Said he was un aware of other Olajos family here. Unofficially we probably were related. I have spoke with a Olajos in Hungary and my family was from a village within 20 miles of where she lives.
I was born in Hazleton in 1951 at the old St. Joseph's hospital. My paternal grandparents are buried in Calvary cemtery in Drums and I swear I'm related in someway to what seems like half the people buried in Saint Johns :-)
I saw that you had added some photos on the Elizabeth Scheidy Heller page. Thank you for that. I especially liked the one that showed the 3 gravemarkers of Elizabeth, her father Peter and her husband Lewis Heller.
My photo of Elizabeth's stone is very dirty and dingy looking but you have no idea how hard I had to work on it just to get it to look like that. As an aside, I kept the Nov. 16 death date for Elizabeth because Nov. 16 is my birthday.
My relationship to the Scheidy family - Elizabeth and Lewis are my ggg grandparents and Peter and his father and so on are gggg etc grandparents as well.
RE: Pearl Wantland You do things the same way I do things by adding info to the bio's. It helps prevent duplicates from being made. Btw, it's not necessary to give me the credit. I enjoy helping out whenever I can.
RE: Rose E. Swope Obit Hi! Sorry I'm just now getting back to you!!! Thanks for typing out her obituary. I did find that the article was in THE GETTYSBURG TIMES, WEDNESDAY MARCH 6, 1935, PAGE 1. I will delete the article under the picture section right now. Have a great day!!!! Laura Hershey
