RE: Concord Cemetery
I am still looking into Juanita Elaine Cates and John W Collins who I was told were in the Concord Cemetery. As the story goes, they were located in a picket fence area together. After talking with my dad last weekend, He was there in the 60's and described it as being about 2 miles east of Jonesville on the road to LA. The map I was looking at shows Concord slightly nortwest.

RE: Concord Cemetery
I understand the snames issue very well, ran into a cemetey in Georgia that is in similiar condition. Part of the cemetery in now over grown with swamplands compete with gators and snakes.

I am not sure how to find a location of the plots at the Concord Cemetery or who would have a listing of those that are burried there. Below is family I am told are there but do not appear in find Find A Grave. They were in one of the fenced areas, not sure they were togehter or separate fenced areas.

Juanita Elaine Cates
b. 09 Jul 1931 d. 08 Sep 1932

Collins, John W
b. Feb 7, 1897 d. Oct 9, 1918

Hazel Collins
d. 1922

Any help with these would be great.

RE: Concord Cemetery
Thanks for the information on Jesse N George at Concord Cemetery. My understanding there are several George, Cates, and Collins burried at the Concord Cemetery that are all related. I beleive I have sent photo requests for all that are listed in FindAGrave. There are several I am told were burried there but are not listed.

The Cates are/where in a fenced in area somewhere at the Concord Cemetery. I have family memembers that were there many years ago and have pictures, but I am having a hard time getting the pictures from them.

I have heard that the Concord Cemetery has gone down hill over the years. Many graves have been damaged.

The family that owns/owned the Hardware store and meusem had some infromation on the Cates Family. Last I heard, the grand kids were running the store. Their grandfather and my grandfather Ralph Radford Cates grew up together.
Thanks again

How are you related to Aunt Bina? Did you ever meet her husband, Mr. Johnston?
