thanks for the info on her maiden name, and clarifying her husbands! I found son, Henry J in CA, and he's a Lucks - so there are 2 Lucks sons...do you know the names and dates of the Steuben children? did Mr Steuben die in GER and Margaretha subsequently married Johann Lucks there? HELP!!! :) k

Well good luck with all of the puzzles, My mother is the genealogist in the family, but she had 13 siblings as did her mother Eva Lynn, to drive her interest more. I have always figured that I would go back 2-3 generations past my oldest known relative that I have met and that would be enough to suffice me. Just in case as a side note Ma said she has been to Laverne, Ok, and seen where some Goodale's were buried and told me several of the brother's moved to Blackwell, Ok, I do not know if they are buried there or not. Later Ya'll.

Yes, I am a direct descendant. Eva Lynn was my Grandmother as a matter of fact my baby sister, in my records, is named after her and buried at her feet. Eva Lynn was married twice, to my Grandfather, Jim Ogden and to Lewis Dunsworth, she was divorced both times but she had already bought the headstone and grave at the time of her divorce to Lewis (he is not buried in that cemetery) and went back to her last name. The other memorial was done by a "documentor" someone who sees records on the computer and copies and paste a bunch to inflate their number of memorial's managed. Every person in my collection I either new personally, and in most cases was a pallbearer at their funeral, or am related to. Are you related also?

Are you related to Alfretta and Emmet Land?
|N. Dale Talkington||Rollen Land in Harper Co.|
There are only two Land family members in our 1995 book THE GARDENS OF STONE, Harper County, OK.
If you will send me your snail address I'll mail you the two obits connected with this family. They do not contain much information, but at least you will have them.

OK, Just send it back and I will see what I can fix up for you.
Transferring it back to me should be easy.

I have transferred her memorial to you so you can add what ever you think is correct.
Good luck in your searching,
