Absolom Willey
I am also a member of the DAR. I am working on a supplemental for Absolom through his son John Waitman. My 3great grandfather was Silas Willey. I have a copy of John Waitman's will that show a son Silas but the DAR needs more proof that they are the same Silas. Have you come across anything in your research that would help
Thanks and hope to hear from you soon

Ronald Farley
Hi, I noticed you have Ronald Farley listed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. This Mt. Zion Cemetery is on Huff Ridge in Wetzel County and hasn't had a burial in almost 90 years.
According to his Obituary he is buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetery on Whiteman Hill. Whiteman Hill is on New Martinsville Ridge.
This Mt Zion Cemetery is listed on find a grave as "Mt. Zion Cemetery on New Martinsville Ridge".
I thought you may want to correct this entry.

Thanks, Tom
