Capt. Raymond J. Anslem
Capt. Raymond J. Anslem (husband of Mary Daigle)
He died about 70 miles offshore Port Arthur, TX

Jury rules against Gulf Corp.

The widow of an offshore oil supply boat
skipper who filed suit against Gulf Corp. and
Pool Offshore Co. of Houston in connection
with her husband's 1982 death has been
awarded $12.9 million by a federal jury in
Louisiana. Capt. Raymond Anslem and a
crew member of the 110-foot Anela Briley
were killed in an explosion as the boat was
tied to a Gulf oil production platform about
70 miles off Port Arthur, Texas. When
Anslem's boat developed a leak, Pool em-
ployees on the platform lent his crew a
normally air-driven pump that was powered
by natural gas instead. The engine room
filled with gas and exploded, killing Anslem
and chief engineer Mike Pardee. Attorneys
for the plaintiff, Marie Daigle Anslem, said
platform workers did not inform the boat
crew that natural gas was activating the
pump instead of compressed air.

Rose,
Thank you so much for adding my Mother's photo to the site! I was actually on the page looking for someone else (to see if there was a photo of another relative I know is buried there), and found that you had kindly added my mother.
You made my heart smile!

Me again! Also, there is a Mrs. Fressier buried in the Angelloz plots. I have a pic of that headstone as well.

Angelloz
Hello! I added a pic of Emile and Elise Angelloz. I also added a pic of Pierre Angelloz and Arthur Angelloz. I also have pics of Mary Marcasol Angelloz and P. Angelloz who died in 1901 and EJ Vice, Jr. died 1904. All of these Angelloz's were burried in the same plot section. If you need the other pics just let me know. God bless!
