|Mark McCrady||RE: Many thanks!!|
It should be easy to prove if Gilmore Simons was buried at Rest Haven Cemetery, or not. Here is the phone number, call them and they will be able to tell you. 812-526- 3529. Good Luck!

Thank you for taking the photos of the headstones for Gerald and Brooks Lucas. They turned out great! And the added bonus was that I found out their son was buried next to them. I appreciate all of your efforts in getting this to me.

Thanks very much for the photos and especially making a second trip to locate the graves. It looks as thought you may have had to clear sod away from the markers once you did locate them. I remember going there with my father and tending the graves, but that was many years ago and no one in the family has lived anywhere close for a long time. Thanks again, I really appreciate your efforts.

I had a photo request for these two names and it seems you were not able to locate them.
I don't know if you are familiar with a publication by the Pontiac Area Historical & Genealogical Society called "Oakland County, Michigan Oak Hill Cemetery 1822-1991" 1992
This source is a listing of all names of people buried in this cemetery. Accordingly, both their names are on p. 200 of this source. For her, it lists her name as Mrs. Samuel Perry d. 8-16-1895 age 81 and for Samuel it says Samuel Perry d. 9-15-1893* age 89. The asterick denotes that it is the date of burial, not the date of death.
Therefore, I believe that these tombstones should be there in the older section of the cemetery -- though the source did not indicate a burial location. It is quite possible that the tombstones are gone, or no tombstones were errected. Perhaps a check of the sexton's office might reveal more information to help you locate the graves.
There are about 22 Perry graves in the older section of this cemetery.
Would it be possible for you to return to the cemetery to inquire and take photos of all the Perry's -- that haven't already been done yet -- and enter them into Find A Grave?

Thank you for your efforts. I see you are new to Find a Grave. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Oak Hill has a great volunteer who is there often. He helped my find my GGG grandfathers grave.

Thank you for taking the time to photo this marker for me. This is my great uncle, my grandmothers brother, who died only a few days after I was born. Sadly I never knew him. Thanks again.
