Bio Photo Hi,
My name is Robert Osburn and I have been doing my family's genealogy for some time. I am a retired engineer and now have a lot of time to commit to finding out as much as possible about my ancestors.

opps, one additional thought re RJO
Well, I said "pretty much impossible" to find RJO, but do you recognize any names in this Plot S that has a RJO listed ? The timeframe of the plot matches.

RJO d.1888 addendum
Here a RJO is listed (outside of plot) meaning no marker and with no date confirmation [so pretty much impossible to claim as your RJO]:

Other miscellany:
Here RJO's last residence 294 Hudson and his occupation given as hairdresser:

His brother? Frederick is listed as owning a confectionary.

Robert John Osburn d. 1888
Hi. Unfortunately, we have hit a block with RJO's burial location. As you may have found, the Mt. Hope Cemetery interment record gives a location of M 422 W 1/2. When this location is searched on the corresponding plot map, no Osburns are found. I notice that RJO has other family members who died at a later time and have other burial locations, mainly in a new area of Range 3. In 1888, Section M seems to have gone through a reorganization and often record discrepancies are noted in this section, or really, any older section is prone to discrepancy! Sometimes in these early years burials may have been removed with subsequent record not updated. After an extensive search of information that we have, searching creative possibilities such as W or N 422 or name variations, we are coming up with no results. It may be possible to search the entire Section M plot map. Here is the link with RJO's given location found on pdf page 246

We also searched a survey of known names with surviving stones that was conducted in the 1980s with no results for RJO.

Unless you may have other leads, we may be out of luck.

George A. Conrad
I am trying to locate info on Rev. Conrad. He married my grandparents in Burwell, NE in 1926. While doing your research have you come across this man?

RE: Joseph Derleth
You are most welcome. I have other pictures of Derleth's in Holy Ghost, but haven't had time to post yet. As soon as my work schedule slows down I will be putting them on.

Arnold K. Osburn
Hi Robert,

I just added a photo for Arnold K. Osburn. Note that the birth year is different from what is listed on his memorial page. Also, I took a photo for Margaret Osburn who was buried next to him (1906-1971) and who I presume was his wife. Let me know if you would like this photo as well.

Thanks,
Erin C.
