|I live in Greenwood, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis and have been doing research on my family for over 30 years. I have been an active member of Ancestry.com since 2007 and currently have over 6000 family members and 5800 photographs listed on my page. Family photographs are exceedlingly hard to come by. I encourage everyone actively participating in family research to make photographs available to others who are delving into their ancestry. In the absence of family or individual portraits, headstones are an important part of maintaing credibility in family research so I also encourage that photographs be added to this page.|

Thank you so much for letting me know. I did upload a picture for a Harold Evans yesterday. Unfortunately, once I had done so, I realized it was the wrong Harold Evans. The one I found out there was for Harold Craig Evans. Perhaps the father. (?) Once I fulfilled your requested with the wrong person/pic. I removed it and then I had no longer a way to find who requested it. I felt terrible! I wanted to tell you that I will go back and fulfill your request next week.Do u happen to know if the Harold Craig Evans I found was related to your Harold Leroy Evans? If so, it is possible there is not a marker. I looked at all the stones in this family plot area and I did not see 2 Harold's. If they we not related, it has to be somewhere else within the cemetery. I ran into a gentleman out there yesterday who was working and he did have records. If the 2 Harold's are not related, I will call him early next week and ask him if he has another Harold Evans in his records.

You are Welcome.

I don't have a burial place. I have place of death being Splendora but no burial place. Do you live somewhat close to Splendora? I'm in Utah so definitely not close.

Am not familiar with the Margaret Shoemaker of which you speak, is there a memorial for her on findagrave?

Hi Chuck, Thanks for the update information. I have changed my posting and suggest you delete yours as mine have a lot more information. You should transfer the photos to my site, they will still have your name on them. Thank you again for the correction to the page. Clem

You are most welcome.

You're welcome. Their son, Joe Watson, was a classmate of mine and graduated with our BHS class of 1958.

I don't know of any of the Shoemakers going in that direction but that doesn't mean that none did. If you find a link between yours and mine, please let me know. Interesting searches, keep up the good work
