Family photographs are exceedlingly hard to come by. I encourage everyone actively participating in family research to make photographs available to others who are delving into their ancestry. In the absence of family or individual portraits, headstones are an important part of maintaining credibility in family research so I also encourage that headstone photographs be added to this site. Please feel free to use any photo I have posted on this site as they are placed here for sharing.

RE: Michel
Yes there is another row of gravestones/headstones behind the Michel stone as is the case throughout Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, New York. I know Robert is not listed behind the other Michel's as I looked for that possibility. Thank you, James B. Conklin, Jr.

RE: Mechanicsburg Cemetery
From what I remember it is on the north side of the road and is way back off of the road and the road is lined with trees on both sides of the lane going back to the house. The people that live there are the ones that you need to get permission from-- really nice people. Be prepared to walk up hill. He keeps it very well maintained.

RE: Shoemake in Splendora
I don't have a burial place. I have place of death being Splendora but no burial place. Do you live somewhat close to Splendora? I'm in Utah so definitely not close.

RE: Beard in Splendora
I will see if I can locate the cemetery for you and check it out soon. I will let you know what I find.
