I knew them as Lena and Newell Northrop. They were good friends of my parents. Newell died 4-28-89. They had lives at 117 Blydenburg Av. New London, CT. 06320.
That's all I can remember.

I just e-mailed Sandy to see what info she may have on the Welch's and DeWitts.
My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org
|Sharon Welch||RE: northrup family|
I do not know anything of the Northups. I had just added Clyde Northup because he was not on the listing and I had been at that cemetery taking some pictures.
My husband however is related to DeWitts. His Grandmother was Lillian DeWitt and she married Eugene Welch. Lillian was daughter of George DeWitt 1853-1935 and George was son of Elliot DeWitt 1826-1894.
We are struggling with my husbands family lines so if you may somehow be related we would love it if you could share any information you may have. I have been trying to research Eugene Welch for quite some time with no success. He had a brother (or uncle???) Rexford Welsh....(note the different spelling Welch/Welsh) I think this is much of our problem. Would love to hear back from you. Feel free to e-mail me at my home address.
Sad isn't it that one would not even know much of his own Grandfather, but, he did die around 60yrs old so that could explain some of it.
