Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm 72 years of age and have been researching my family tree for 18 years. Have compiled two books, one a two volume set and the second was a 14 volume, 10,776 page book entitled, "A TREE TRUNK." I have photographed thousands of grave markers throughout the years and will share any upon request. Most are in the Ontario County, Monroe County areas of New York. Research though has expanded to several other states, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Mississippi, Tennessee, California, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia to name but a few.

Whitcomb in First Graveyard
Hi Ron,

I do not think that the Whitcomb's stones, if there were any, are present in the First Graveyard in Henniker. This graveyard was the oldest in Henniker and according to Henniker Historian Martha Taylor, must of the graves were unmarked. Most of the cemetery, is open field, with only a few stones toward the bottom. The cemetery association in town, even though the cemetery looks empty, have refused any new burials as they do not have an accurate plot of where the oldest graves are. I have scoured this cemetery in the past, looking for unphotographed stones, and only found a few I could add. I will try again when the snow is gone, but leave very little hope. There are many Whitcomb's buried in New Henniker Cemetery, which you may be aware of.

Happy Hunting,
