I have been interested in discovering my family roots since I was very young and thanks to the internet, I am able to trace many of those roots. I currently live in Texas, but family lines come from Virginia. Several lines traveled throughout Virginia, West Virginia and the Mid-West.
I realize some members play the 'numbers game' and create as many memorials possible. THIS DOES NOT MAKE YOU AN EXPERT ON THE PEOPLE YOU CREATED MEMORIALS FOR. For me, it's not the numbers, it's the ACCURACY. I firmly believe that if you create many memorials on find a grave, you have a duty to check your email frequently (especially your junk mail since FaG can end up there) and get memorials updated in a timely manner. If you feel FaG is overwhelming, transfer your memorials before you go "silent". Also, if someone sends a suggested correction to you, you should honor that request, especially if the person tells you THEY ARE FAMILY. They clearly know information YOU DO NOT.
I have added memorials from a few local cemeteries in Central Texas to help others with their family research. I am always happy to transfer memorials to family when requested. | |

 | Milroy and Mary WHITE Sorry, but no gravestone for Mary. The space to the left of Milroy must be where she is buried. Have you tried phoneing the cemetery office to make sure? Anyway, could you go to Edit> Burial> Plot and add in Roselawn? That will make it easier for others to find them in the future. They are in front of the right corner side of Mausoleum A (the small one). The large family stone in the background says White on the other side. James and Kezia (maiden name also White) White are buried there. Don't know if they are related. | | | Jessie Joiner
 | RE: Sears Family Thanks anyway, are you related to any of the Sears family, or do you know any of our Indian heritage or where I could go to find answers and again Thank you. Jessie Joiner | | | Jessie Joiner
