{Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits! Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.

To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.

Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!

The exception:
Requesting a transfer other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email.}

Mary brumback
To the family i recently came across a death certificate for Mary Elizabeth thorn brumback with all correct dates as listed here. My grandma has passed away and this was in with her things. Once she told me that she lived with a dr and his wife they took care of her growing up. Do any of u know the name Eula Hanna ? Also listed in census it shows private as a person living in household.

Keyser ---> Brumback
I believe my great great great great grandfather was Maj. Andrew Keyser (b c. 1758, d Nov 1833, wife Sarah Rinehart) brother of John Keyser (John Keyser --> Alexander Keyser --> Alexander Hamilton Keyser --> Nannie Belle Keyser + Frank Compton Brumback --> Dr. Lynn Hamilton Brumback --> Frank Edgar Brumback). I am interested in (or will share with others) information on the Keyser line, particularly as relates to my great grandparents Rev William Hampson Keyser/Ella may Bowen era (c.1863-1932).

Edgar Allan Thorn
Hi, Lynne. Thank you for your work here. I had a question about two Edgar Allan Thorns in the WV/VA area around 1913-1932. One is the son of Harry Peter Thorn and Mary Elizabeth Livers Thorn and he lived in Martinsburg, WV, from 1893-1913. But I am coming across another Edgar Allan Thorn who appears in the area in records as late as 1932 and lived 1921-1952, dying in Virginia. Is this second Edgar possibly the son of John Peter Thorn named after his deceased uncle?

Yeager Ancestry

I'm descended from John S. Yeager, son of Henry & Rebecca. I'm very interested to hear about the family Bible and its documentation. I'm not 100% convinced Henry is the son of Conrad due to Henry and Conrad's age but perhaps you have better insight. I'm a new member of "Find A Grave" and will be posting many photos of Yeager burials from the Northumberland and surrouonding counties. Let me know if I can provide anything in the near term.

William H Smith
I have a photo for him but the "ith" on Smith and the dod is obscured by dirt and grass. I was going to go out today to clean it up just a
little so it could be read but it is cold and raining. The La Crosse Area Genealogical Society did Section 14 and will be uploading the information to their website soon. I decided to wait and see if the photo there is better.

RE: Thank You!
Next spring, when the genealogical society goes back to Oak Grove to continue transcribing I will take some time to clean a little of the dirt off the stones. We have to be careful we do not dig around the stones to disturbe them but some of the edge dirt can be cleaned away.

Bunting & Smith
I have entered pages for Chas. Hood Bunting 1833 - 1900; Agnes H. Smith, 1846 - 1836;
and Ardelia E. Smith, 1821 - 1905. Also buried in the same row with them was Floya Bunting - but her stone is so deteriorated it is impossible to read without help. The La Crosse Public Library page indicates she was born and died in 1871. I didn't have any chalk with me to make the letters stand out. I also have an O. Harvey Bunting 1881 - 1928.
