Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm of the York Country, PA Thoman-Mummert and French Didelot-Kalbe clans, although I've migrated a bit northwest. I'm interested in gathering family history information so it may be passed down to generations yet unborn, so that we all may know better from whence we came.

Rick i saw your request to change the birthdate for oliver stick. He died in 1817 and I am reading that he was 7 years old so 1810 makes sense. Do you have information that corrects this or am I just not seeing it in my photo. Let me know. Happy to make any changes

RE: Clarris Thoman Brown
Take a look at the new picture. Looks like you may need to add someone. I am happy with the way it worked out.
I have a photo of just the bottom half If you get a new memorial made I will post the photo, just send me a message.

I have sometimes tried putting dirt over the engraving to get it to stand out. It can be rinsed off with water with no damage to stone. It was also late afternoon and getting pretty shady so I will try a couple of things next time I am in that area. It is about 25 miles from my house but may try later in the week.
We are in corn harvest and I will have a little time between cooking meals as my mother in law and sister in law take turns also. We feed a crew of 6 a large noon meal then pack sack lunches for supper.

RE: Charles Thoman
You are very welcome. There were a few other Thomans there (already on the site, but with no photo) - I will add those later today.

Harriet Mary Merkle Trone
Sorry for any confusion Rick. I knew her name was Harriet because it was on her daughter's death certificate and also family trees. But HER death cert said 'Mary' -which was either a nickname, first or middle name. If that's what they called her- seems good under nickname unless someone finds a birth record. Thanks!

RE: Houser memorial
Sorry, that's all I could find. If there are others, I did not see them. Will check again the next time I am over there.
