I'm of the York Country, PA Thoman-Mummert and French Didelot-Kalbe clans, although I've migrated a bit northwest. I'm interested in gathering family history information so it may be passed down to generations yet unborn, so that we all may know better from whence we came. | |

 | Michael Kessler 1774-1871 Dear Rick, I guess everyone really is related. I was checking out some ancestors and saw you had "5th great grandpa" for Michael Kessler. He would be my 4th great grandpa. My line follows Michael's son John Kessler, he had a son Franklin Kessler who had Charles Kessler who had Curvin Kessler who had my Dad who had me! I saw your 4th great grandma was Elizabeth Kessler Sterner. It's just neat to see how so many are linked together!! OK, thought I'd let you know, Have a great Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | Leroy Thoman Dear Rick, I added the picture I had of his tombstone for his memorial page. Thanks, Laura | | | Laura Kessler Hershey
 | Leroy S. Thoman I checked and apparently St. Vincent is on find a grave twice. Once in Adams County and the same cemetery in York County. I'll delete mine that I added in Adams County. I'm not sure if St. Vincent Cemetery is in York or Adams County. I'll have to find out. Thanks, Laura | | | Bill E. Doman
 | Memorial #27072721, Thoman Hi Rick: This Memorial created by Denise Bowman Flynn and sponsored by you and your caption "my 6th great Grandfather and the father of the York County Thoman clan" intrigues me. I have documentation that my 4th Great Grandfather, Jacob Doman, Birth about 1754-1755 - Death 15 May 1815, Near Romney, Hampshire, Virginia and coming into Virginia from Lancaster,Pennsylvania with a marriage to a Mrs. Margaret Doman in abt 1776. All research I have traced, with my Jacob Doman, does not definitively indicate when and where his Surname was changed to Thoman yet, on records submitted by numerous others, my Jacob's Ancestral lines have shown the Thoman change. May I ask if you or any one working on this line can furnish me with any information on this clarification? Your John Jacob "Hans" Thoman might be the Father of my Jacob Doman according comparative Birth/Death dates - the question - is there sufficient verification? I would really like to resolve this. Have a good day and thank you. I would appreciate a response to this inquiry. | | | Brenda & Pete
