I am a married GenXer with young children, working on my DAR paperwork (I've located 8 patriots so far). The genealogy bug hit me when an elderly relative sent me a link to an online blurb about a relative who was killed during the Civil War. Since then, I have been on sites like Find A Grave and Ancestry daily, building my family tree and trying to discover where we came from.

I keep full-size files of all photos I post, so just ask if you want me to email a particular photo. I'm also happy to transfer memorials to direct relatives (based on Find A Grave guidelines). Just let me know how you are related.

RE: Diana Ferguson
Thank you for the info. I'm glad I searched & found you had posted her parents, and did not create her memorial.
I don't find many that even know about Find A Grave. :)
Let me know when you create hers. I will leave a flower.
As far as I know. She is being cremated.
Thank you Shana

Are you Diana's sister? If so, I was going to create memorial for her. But will not if your going to. Found your tree, Great pics. Was wondering when her mom passed. I worked in ER with her 28 yrs.

Robert James George McClurkin
Robert James George McClurkin # 113953303

I have a photo dated Dec. 8, 1913 @ 2 years old of Robert James George McClurkin (Signed "Lovingly"). I will scan it when I get back to my own computer in a week or so. It was included in a box of photos of my Dad's stepmother - Hannah Rea McIlwee Hargrave of Lisbon, NY. I am not sure of the connection there. Interesting though! Phyllis Hargrave

Family of Thorp
Good Afternoon,

I did a search of Berlin IOOF cemetery for the name Thorp. 4 Memorials came back:

120109344, 345, 346, 347

These are ancestors of mine. They are siblings of my Maternal Grandmother Lyda Barr (Thorpe). I was hoping you could switch them to me.

Thank you,

Randy Howard

I believe you have the death year wrong on this memorial. The tombstone states 1901 not 1911. Thanks

For the Parklawn Rockville cemetery

do you know which sections you have taken pictures in?

did you know the chapel had people buried in there?

Its near the the place where you took the names of the dates and births.

I think its the Gallery crypts.

have you taken pictures of some of the stones in the asian section or recorded them? If so you can give me the links and I can try to take pictures of the stones
