I will be out of commission for a little while. Just had a surgery and I'm not feeling so good. They tell me it will take a while to feel normal again. Please bear with me for edits/corrections. Thanks.|
Please allow 30 days for me to complete edits you send to me.
NEW EDIT SYSTEM: Go to your profile page and at the top is a tab called EDITS. There you will find the edits/additions that others have sent to you. There is a drop down box where you can choose to view all edits sent to you and all edits you have sent to others. You should check that tab each time you log on.
This is supposed to be a faster way to do all of the edits at once.
It is intentional that survivors are not listed on the page. See FAG's FAQ page for the guidelines about listing living people.
Please mind your manners and leave a polite message below. Mean or rude people are ignored. Please treat me with the consideration and politeness that you would want for yourself.
Sometimes I check info provided in Edits by others. I try to confirm info that is submitted before I make the changes. If I am unable to do so, I may ask you to provide a source document to prove the changes you want me to make. This is done so I don't keep going back and forth changing details on someone's say so. When I ask for a source, I am looking for a marriage record, bible record, census, or other official document. My goal is to post accurate information on Find A Grave.
Thank you so much to all of the contributors who have helped me over the years. I'm very grateful.

|mary emerson-smith||my grandmother's little sister|
dear grave whisperer, i also visited the grave of mary white staton when i was at westview. i have asked the cemetery to clean the marker just below the staton monument and hope that they will do this. if you do plan to return to westview, i would very much appreciate your commemorating her. she died just short of fifty years old, leaving a devastated husband, two sons and her parents. sincerely, mary
p.s. i have removed the advertisements from lily and william's sites to do justice to what you have placed there.
|mary emerson-smith||my father's emerson grandparents|
dear grave whisperer, i recently visited the emerson plot at westview cemetery in atlanta. william and lily emerson are buried there and you have done a beautiful job of contributing to their lasting memory. i would love to know if you are related to the them as you were able to add not only their death notices from the newspaper but also their death certificates. it is so sad to know that lily died when my father was only ten years old. i am 72 and my grandchildren are a vital part of my life and i of theirs. do you have any plans to commemorate any of the other emersons in that plot? my father's sister dorothy cross emerson is buried there, his uncle austin emerson and his wife laura cole emerson, his parents cherry logan and sina emerson. i see that the picture of lily came from an ancestry.com member who has an emerson family tree there. i will look into the connection. i would love to know why you chose william and lily. this is not a request to do the others resting there, just an inquiry. ever appreciatively, mary

Is it possible to confirm that Vada's husband, John (Henry) Schroeder is interred with/next to her at Inglewood Park (masoleum I believe)? Thanks! Krs
|Truckinthrutime||Thomas J & Abigail Robinson|
Hi, I hope you can help me.
When my parents where at Thomas J & Abigail Robinson's grave some years ago, they took photos of the grave & the Estep cemetery sign, which is where they believe our ancestors are buried. It look like you also have been to the area, at the Harlan cemetery, are these cemetery's so close that it is hard to tell which is which or what?
I'm confused, can you please explain why you have Harlan cemetery? Thank you for your hard work & time. Gail

I am currently researching the Schlobohm name and ran across two entries for Clara Jane Marshall Schlobohm. You can view the entry that I found at Memorial # 43322927. I've ran across a name that was entered twice in finagrave before, but never one that was entered in two different cemeteries! This is an interesting family as a couple of their children married into the Nicol family. I don't know how to resolve this problem of the two entries as I have only been a member of findagrave for several months now. I will leave it to your expertise to solve the problem. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Very sincerely, Sherry J. Stack
saw you added a document for Ruby stephens I added the memorial photo
