Arabia Brown's genealogy
Dear Karen,

Could you please send me a copy of Arabia Brown's genealogy also? I am trying to sort through the family of Moses Dooley.

Thank you,
Alice Gedge

Hi Karen,

I was looking at your edits for Edith Evlyn Sparks and I figured out what happened. There was anothe Edith Sparks who died the same day in LA County and the info for her was accidentally pulled instead of for the correct person. So you can ignore the McGinty in her name, that is for a completely different person.

I'm fixing the record now but I'm going to decline your edit and get rid of McGinty completely. I've found her and her sister Esther's mother and will link them to her shortly.

Their father apparently died before 1900, I will take a stab at locating him but I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time on it since I don't know his specific date of death.

Rucker genealogy
JKP Rucker was my gggrandfather. Her was shot and killed in Lamar County. I saw a newspaper story on it several yrs ago and now I can't find it. My ggrandmother was his daughter Mary Etta Rucker Arnold. I live in Seymour and for years made sure her grave site was taken care of, she is buried with her son, my grandfather, Johnny Arnold. I have some Rucker, Arnold family history I would be glad to share, I would also like to have any family history that anyone would like to share.

RE: Thank you
Karen - you are so very welcome. My husband helped me find this cemetery several years back - in answer to a Find A Grave photo request. The cemetery is well maintained, still in use, but difficult to get to. It's on the other side of a creek on a ranch which appears to have deer leases. We opted to cross the creek on foot. So I was determined to photograph as many stones as possible! Happy I posted your ancestors - and delighted that they have found their way home to you! Becky

If you would like any other transfers just ask. So far I do not think that any of the photos that I have taken of any headstones in Fayetteville/Lillington and nearby areas are of any relation to me. (I am originally from New York).

RE: Bagwell - Moutray

Well, thank you so very much for scanning those photos! What a treasure for me to see them!

Do you have anymore photos?

I'm presuming you are married to a descendant from this Bagwell line. Would you be willing to share additional information on this lineage? I'm more than willing to share by email.

I was so happy to see the Laster sisters, Marie and Bernice! We snail mailed each other many years ago. I learned a lot about the Lasters then. They descended from the brother to our Nancy Laster who married George L. Bagwell, both born in Alabama. Nancy was also known as Bethenia Mary Laster, but on census was listed as Nancy.

Jesse Ray and Henrietta "Etta" Johnson Bagwell are buried near Norman?, Okla. Son, George Lucas "Luke" and wife Ava Boswell Bagwell lived in DeLeon, TX and the moved to Dublin, Dublin Co., TX. Luke and several of his Uncles worked for the railroads.

Are you on Facebook? I'm trying to gather descendants from this line together. I have put some photos there. May I add your photos there, so others from this line can see them?

Thank you again,
Patricia Bagwell

Bagwell - Moutray
I was wondering where you received the information and photos that are on Lillie May Moutray Gess and the other Moutrays. Under Lillie May's , there is listed Jesse Ray and Etta Johnson Bagwell, my husband's great grandparents! It is first time, I've seen this photo! Annie Bagwell Moutray is Jesse's sister, and children of George L. And Bethaney " Nancy" Laster Bagwell. Bethaney should also be buried in this same cemetery in Fairview.

Could you please lead me to the person who gave you this information?

Thank you,
Patricia Bagwell,
