Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Indiana and now live in Michigan. I have been fortunate enough over the years to have visited every state, some for genealogical purposes and some for geological/fossil digs. Most of my family lines stem from North Carolina and branch out across the country.
Besides searching cemeteries, I also search for lighthouses and covered bridges in any area I venture into.
If I incorrectly enter data for someone, please notify me. If you have additional pictures, please add them. I appreciate any help.

Burdens at Maple Grove
Judy, The answer is I am NOT related. Just happened to take the picture while I was there. I believe that all those years ago, I was there to do a couple of photo requests and just happened to take some extra snaps! I transferred all three to you! Enjoy your family!!! I'd like to think maybe I helped somehow! jWheeler

RE: Andrew Eldridge
No, I am not related. I cannot find any definitive info as to where Florence is buried, but there are several trees on Ancestry that have her buried in the same cemetery. However, some of them suggest she remarried and her surname was Lawrence.

Hi Judy,

I wish I could take credit for the pictures but that honor goes to Kathy Robinson. We have been assisting each other in many of the cemeteries within Pike county. Kathy gets my vote as the hardest working, most dedicated individual. I am quite sure she would love to hear from you. You can email her at the following:

Tell her I said "Hi!" :)

Alva Arbuckle
I also transferred Alva's memorial to you. I did change the birth date and add name. As far as which came name was his first name, the only record I have is the cemetery record which lists his name as Alva J. Arbuckle. I have found several records for others where people just changed the order or spelling of their names throughout their lives. Both of my grandparents switched their first and middle names so that their birth records, school records, and death records are different. It is best that you list the name however you think it should be.

I meant "Nighbert". Mary Nighbert married my great-uncle Getty Bruce.

Arbuckle family
I transferred William W. and Lucinda Arbuckle to you for management as requested. Happy to do it. I am not related to the Arbuckle family, but do have Neiberts in my family. Perhaps we share a connection in that family tree.

RE: Abigail Blackford Reed
Yes Abigail Blackford Reed is a long distant aunt. Rev. Ephriam Hardy married Isaiah Martin Blackford's daughter, Abby, on 22 Dec 1836 in Jefferson Co, IN. This Isaiah Martin Blackford is buried in New Bethel Cemetery and is the oldest brother of the Abigail Blackford Reed who is buried in Marling Cemetery and who married Frederick Reed in Woodford Co KY on 12 June 1811 and then to James Bridges on 25 Sept 1861. As to why she's buried as "Reed" I can not answer that. Maybe, a family preference. I haven't found a divorce record from Bridges, not to say it might have happened.

I hope this helps and I'm the same person who provided the Barnes Cemetery photos to you through your cousin.
