|Kathy Adams||Thomas Burton Love|
My connection to Thomas Burton is brother-in-law of 2nd cousin 1x removed. I had to go back several generations to find the connection and somewhere down the Morgan line of my great-grandmother I found his connection. Sorry I can't be of more help.
|Pam Chronister||Shadrich and Martha|
My name is Pam Chronister Niehoff.I believe my Great great grandmother and father were Shedrick and Martha Glover Nowlin.How are you related?We live in Troy,Mo.My grandfather was Francis Nowlin and my grandma was Thelma Nowlin Chronister.Do you know any info on Francis Nowlin?He supposedly disappeared around 1915 in Texas after moving my great grandmother Nowlin back to Pope County in Arkansas with all of their children.I believe he had a jewely store and went back to Texas to close it and no one ever heard from him again.Very interested in the family line.Thanks, hope to hear from you!
We're starting up a James forum to discuss genealogy relating to the descendants of Josiah James.
Look us up!

Realatives? You bet we are. I noticed you have been in touch with Helen Robertson. She and I get together on the Sims/Simms occasionally. She is closer related than I am. I sorta came through the back door. My great-grandfather was Jacob Milton Simms (his was Simms)his first wife, Candacia Puckett. She was Allen's mother. She isn't my direct line but I am trying to learn anything I can about her, she is such a mystery. If you know anything about her I would love the help. My line is from Jacob's 2nd wife, Abigail McBride (Piles) Simms. My grandmother, Annie Jane Simms, was their last child. I believe, but can't prove it, that Jacob's two sons with Candacia dropped one "s" from their Simms name. Don't know why but some where it went from Simms to Sims. I tried to get through to you on your e-mail but it kept jumping back to the info I recieved through Find A Grave. So if you would try to contact me through my e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks Jean.

We are most definitely related. Allen Milton Sims (your husband's grandfather)aka "Bill" (for what reason I've yet to figure out when his brother was William Claude) was my grandfather's brother. My grandfather was Thomas Marvin Sims and my ggrandfather was Allen Taylor Sims. Where is your husband's father, Aubigne (??) Milton buried. He's not in Childress. My direct e-mail is email@example.com. I'd love to swap in formation with you.

Carolyn, thank you so much for the picture of Roy Dukes tombstone. If you live nearby, I also have posted a request for a picture of tombstone of Emma Elizabeth Bailey Dukes, b. 1924, d. 1947, buried at Zybach Cemetery. She should be near Roy or Cynthia Dukes. Thanks for your help - Mary
