Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Miami Florida and have been doing Genealogy for well over 35 years. It is my goal to document and record true and factual information on those that have gone before us and to lift them up and honor them for their accomplishments while on this Earthly Plane.

I find pleasure in linking those family members who have been separated in death.

Always remember that the numbers mean nothing on your's the dash in the middle that describes your life.

Ruby O'Kelley West
Ron, I notice Ruby is survived by Bruce West of Fairburn, GA. Is he related to any of the Willis West family in Fairburn, Fayette County and surrounding counties. Willis West is a Rev War soldier who came to Fayette County in the early 1830s and had twenty children. We have 16 of those children connected to him through mem #8260925. Visit the memorial and see if Bruce West finds any of his family.

greenlawn Cemetery Cobb Co GA
Hi there. If you call the office and get me the plot where your specific request is located, I would be happy to go look. Dignity cemeteries are notorious for their lack of help to photo volunteers, sadly.

RE: Emory Wade
We're glad that the effort helped you. The cemetery is in a challenged part of town, but we never felt threatened. The real problems with the cemetery are the lack of maintenance and the resultant excessively-high grass, usually higher than the headstones themselves. Thanks.

RE: Emory Wade
I don't know what the word is, unfortunately. It was much harder to read in-person as the photo is better than reality. Thanks.

We took the picture upside down to avoid getting our showdow in the picture. We flipped the photos before posting, but when we posted they flipped back.

I have More family!!!
My name is Ashley Self. I was looking up my ancestors on to no avail. Finally asking my father what his fathers name was and I looked up this man. My father is Donald Coleman Self, he had a sister Carolyn, a brother William Terry and a Sister Linda. I never met his parents as they passed before I was born and my dad is a very private man and hadn't mentioned any family to me. I would love to know more about my distant family and where our family line began!

The earliest tombstone that lasted to the 1970-80's when the first surveys were done is 1826. May have been more before that because it used to be the Baptist Church Cem. The one on the other side of the road was the Presbyterian Church Cem. In the 1890's the paper ran a competetion for names to rename it. When they made the road wider, they moved lots of graves to the back. One of my relatives was 'LOST' even though the family says she and her husband had a tombstone.
