Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Longwood Florida but, grew up traveling. Lived in a few different US states & found I am a Florida girl but, still love to visit the mountains. In October of 2010 I went on a haunted tour in the little city of Lake Mary & half way through the tour realized how important my family was to the city of Lake Mary. My Great Great Grandfather Axel Sjoblom settled in what would become Lake Mary Florida. He at one time owned what is now Lake Mary Cemetery until he sold it for fifty cents. The tour got me very interested in learning more about my family. Not only the Sjobloms but my entire family. I was very excited to stumble on to this site & start connecting some dots. Soon after I created my account however I had some computer issues and by the time I got everything worked out I was busy with other things & seem to not have time to work on the site. Recently the urge has sparked up again & I am very excited to not only find & add more of my family & friends on the site but, hoping to help others as well. :)

Transfer requests: Always glad to transfer any memorial outside my family, just ask. If you'd rather just have me update it, I am glad to do that too.

Alma (Sjoblom) Ring
Thanks for getting back to me. I'd be grateful to learn anything about Alma if you should happen to come across info in the future, and would be happy to pay to have copies made if ever a photograph of Alma and her husband John Ring and/or children should surface. Thanks!

RE: Alfred Sjoblom
I learned about Axel (and Frank Evans) when I visited the Lake Mary Historical Museum. I was impressed of the towns roots that I started researching the Sjoblom family. I'm sure you've already found all kinds of documents (census, etc.) regarding the famly, but if I can be of any help, feel free to ask. :)

RE: Alfred Sjoblom
You are very welcome!! I've found that the Sjoblom family has some deep roots in Lake Mary. :)

Alma (Sjoblom) Ring
Hello, I am a relative of Alma's husband John Ring.

I made a memorial for Alma today. Our side of the family lost touch with the Rings before World War II, and although I was able to find records of their six children and learn they moved to Pennsylvania, I couldn't find much more until the last few days.

I spoke with a Sjoblom relative who was curious a few years ago and told me there is a street named for her in Lake Mary, so thought the Sjobloms might want to know too.

Tammy Smith
No problem, if you could find out about where she is located, I will still take a photo of her last resting place if you would like.

Tammy Smith
I have located and added all of the photos you requested in Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery except for Tammy Smith. I walked the entire section to the left of the church near the fence and didn't find her. There are several grave sites with no headstones. I will try to get out there in the next few days and look again, just wanted to let you know what is going on.

RE: Hey Cuz
Hey Cuz,
That's great... I feel it is better if a family member manages these memorials rather than strangers who really have no connection to them... I have some names and connections in the family tree if they may help you... I could not find much on that side of the family other than what my Mom and Aunt Jean could provide... Aunt Jean is very helpful when it comes to past generations.

Love and miss you more!
