My mother passed away and I took over the Genealogy for the family. I love finding out where I came from. I'm addicted to my family's history!|
I enjoy researching other peoples families. I hope my research allows someone else to gain some bit of information they may have not had.
If I have someone listed that you are related to and they are not someone directly related to me I will be glad to transfer them to you.
If for any reason I have a memorial up that you do not want on Find A Grave, please contact me and I will remove it.
Also please send any and all corrections to me in case I have missed something.

Hello, I would be happy to take pictures for you at Rest Haven if you would call the cemetary office for the plot locations. Thank you.

Thank for for the transfer of Jeremiah Hoffman. I so appreciate what you do. I live in Nebraska where his brother Thomas Jefferson Hoffman moved to in 1876. I honestly found Jeremiah by accident, but was so pleased on what I found on Findagrave thanks to you. If you have any other info regarding Jeremiah or his family, I would appreciate hearing from you. It is so amazing you had family that served under him. It was sad Jeremiah died so tragically at such a young age with the future he could have had. Again thank you for all you do.

Again, thanks. I did publish an obit with photo on some Sunday in early May so you probably saw it but I was puzzled how you figured she would be buried at DFW cemetery because the obit didn't say so, I have added her parents, bio (taken from obit). Thanks for the condolences but she was ready to go. An old housemaid I knew said the de Bible say thy days is numbered - when you is born de Lawd gives you a certain number of days - some have lots of days and some don't

Can't recall if I thanked you for putting up Find A Grave page for Helen - my mother. If not, thank you. Her ashes were interred there with my dad's in late May. Since her obit which I wrote never said where she would be buried I was surprised to see the memorial. The headstone is being replaced with one with both their names. I told the lady at the cemetery that my mother would prefer her date of birth to not be on the headstone, but the woman said it is "regulation.' My mother did not want her birthdate known but it is Sep. 2, 1923. Also I was annoyed because Hawaii was not a state when she was born and I wish it said her birthplace was Honolulu T.H. (territory of Hawaii) but we cant have what we want sometimes.

I noticed that George and Rose Gavenda are listed at St. Michael's Cemetery, but not their son (Joseph Gavenda, Priest) who is buried alongside them. Would you be able to list him and also picture their markers? It would be so appreciated.

Was wondering if you are related to Jeremiah Hoffman? My 2nd great grandfather Thomas Jefferson Hoffman was his younger brother. Looking for any info on this family. Their parents Frederick & Catherine (Holstein) Hoffman from Lebanon County, PA. My 2nd great ended up in Nebraska. Thank you for taking info on this grave.

Looks like I was there about 9 years ago, I have no memories of it at all. Knowing me I probably just hopped the fence.

Been looking for this burial. In a journal left from my grandmother, copied from her GG Father, leaves this entry: Simon, Captain, took the Small Pox returned to Hebron, Connecticut and died at a Capt Buells and was buried in his garden in the year 1760. Does this make any sense with what you have. Cannot read the writing on the marker, can you send to me the full inscription. Do you have any history about who put this marker up and when?

Thanks for the transfer. You wouldn't happen to have that obit, still, would you? I have a death notice from the Pittston Gazette, Apr 25, 1867, but it can't be the same as it does not say where she is buried. I have contacted the Pittston Historical Society, as they have transcribed the Pittston Cemetery records, but the records start in 1885, she died 1867, so no joy. I would love to find her plot and find out if she is buried with her husband, who falls off the document trail after the 1855 NY State Census. I will be in the Pittston area on May 16-17th. Any help you could provide would be awesome, even if it is another archive to search in person.

Would you be willing to transfer Appolonia's memorial to me? She is the wife of my 3rd great uncle and, although, she is not a direct ancestor, I am still avidly researching her story and consider her my family.
