 | RE: Molek Family Excellent! I thought about adding him myself but figured as soon as you saw his name on the headstone you'd take care of it. I will add the photo ASAP! | | | A Marine's Daughter
 | RE: Montana Moscolic Thanks. How sad about her first husband's death. I came across a couple in a Butte cemetery that broke my heart. The husband was killed in a stateside military accident in WWI 3 months after they were married. She never remarried and lived into her 90s. I always have a lot of respect for young widows/widowers who don't remarry. I'm happy for those that do, but I think it shows a great deal of courage when they don't. Especially if they have children to rear. | | | sun_shinetoo@yahoo.com

 | RE: Margaret Kovatch Chamberlain Hi Shirley: Funny you should mention John. I just found him and his wife Gertrude Petrich and they are buried at St. Mary's Cemetery at Wenona, IL. I did attach them to Aunt Marj.
My cousin, Gene, (one of Ran and Marj's sons) had added a memorial for them along with one for Edward F. Kovatch, a brother of Marj's.
I haven't researched the Kovatch line, and it looks like Gene has only added gravestone photos.
On Ancestry.com I found a TERRELL family tree for John and Gertrude. She does list John's father. I didn't really look at the tree very close, but you may want to take a look.
Sue Terrell is the one researching this tree. She is a daughter of Ran and Marj. You may want to contact her and exchange stuff. Sue and her family live in Peoria, IL. We e-mail each other, but haven't seen her since Marj's funeral.
I will continue to see what I can find, and if I come up with anything, I'll be sure to send it along. So glad my info for Aunt Marj was a help to you. Makes one feel happy to know someone else in the family is helping fill in the blanks. John Kovatch # 91367122 Gertrude Petrich Kovatch # 91367137 Keep in touch. Bonnie

 | RE: Margaret Kovatch Chamberlain Hi Shirley: Nice to meet you. Ran was my dad's brother and he married Aunt Marj and my dad was his best man at their wedding.
You are more than welcome to use this info for your family tree. I have worked on my family for over 30 years and one day on Ancestry.com I found where someone had posted all of my personal pictures as their own. I was furious that they didn't care enough to ask me. I appreciate you asking.
It is so nice to meet someone from Aunt Marj's family. She was a wonderful lady. She was also very interested in the fact that I was putting together a family history. Wish I could show her all of what I have found since she went to be with Uncle Ran. But maybe they are all up there helping me, think????
Good luck with your research and let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
Do you live in IL? Cumberland Cemetery is a very beautiful place to visit. My parents are buried next to Great Grandpa Charles Chamberlain and then next to him is Uncle Ran and Aunt Marj. So happy they are all there together. I'm trying to add pictures - maybe someday.
Sincerely, Bonnie Chamberlain Koke Valrico, FL
