|Ace||Barbara Schoff at Forest Home Cemetery|
Hi! Almost no one fulfills photo requests at Forest Home Cemetery because the cemetery staff does not appreciate photographers and they will not supply them with burial plots.
But you can get the burial plot by calling the cemetery at 773-287-0772 or try e-mailing email@example.com if you cannot talk to someone.
Since there are over 150,000 burials at the cemetery, finding someone's grave without a plot (Section and Lot Number) is nearly impossible. Ace

I plan to be in Linwood next week and I'll see what I can come up with. Cheryl

Hi! I tried taking the best pictures I could in that cemetery, most of the stones are broken in half or illegible. I hope they are what you want!
found Alton Curfman today for you; see photo. I did not see any other graves with Curfman, however. Good luck finding the rest.

I don't usually have a lot of luck with finding death records before 1880. I assume you have tried that at familysearch.org and also not found their records or place of burial. Since they lived in the Oak Park area and were Lutherans, they might be buried at Concordia Cemetery which is also in Forest Park, Illinois. You could contact the cemetery to see if they are buried there. The Oak Park Library might be able to find some record through any newspapers that might have existed at the time, but I would check the cemetery office first. They may also be buried at Waldheim/Forest Home. In my transcription project I covered almost all of the legible graves in the German Section for deaths before 1940 so I should have come across them if they were there and there were gravestones that could be read. The Forest Home office may know if you want to contact them. If you are able to locate the graves at either cemetery and can provide me with the location, I'll be glad to try to find them and take a picture.

Thanks, Shirley. I've corrected the link. Charles is now given as Mary's son. It's good to have someone realizing the mistake. I'll get to your other question soon.

|Ladygraver||RE: Eichenmiller or Eichmiller|
I checked my photos for Preiss Cemetery and found one Eichmiller. Magdalena b 25 Feb 1825 d 15 Sep 1887. I was out that way last Friday and stopped by again to recheck. I have found no others. There are other graves located there but have no headstones.
I am doing OK and thank you for asking. I appreciated it very much. Hope all is well with you.

I have added the information you requested. If this is a relative of yours I will transfer the memorial to you if you wish. Carin
|Marjorie ||RE: Rader family|
You don't make requests through here. You go to each memorial and click on edit and suggest a correction and ask for transfers
